Founded by cousins Lesley “Two Feet” Howell, Rawle Burkett, and Kehinde Griffith, it began with just $20,000, a single frying pan, and a barbecue drum. Now a thriving operation, D Grill employs over 20 staff across two shifts and operates daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Offerings: Signature Dish: Honey-brown chicken legs, grilled to perfection. Sides: Cheese-covered fries (potato or plantain), potato salad, or macaroni and cheese. Service: Bulk orders available for events, ensuring a memorable barbecue experience. Community Commitment: D Grill prides itself on serving fresh, daily-prepared food, with leftovers donated to staff and the homeless, embodying a strong community-focused ethos. Growth & Future Plans: From its roadside origins, D Grill has expanded through word-of-mouth, upgrading equipment, extending hours, and increasing its presence. A new dine-in location is planned for next year to enhance the customer experience.
