Good afternoon,

I am writing to express my serious frustration and disappointment regarding the handling of my loan application at Demerara Bank, Skeldon Branch.

I applied for a loan at the Skeldon Branch several months ago. As an existing client of Demerara Bank, I expected the application process to be handled in a professional and timely manner.

After receiving no clear update, I went to the main office in Georgetown and spoke with a loan officer regarding my application. The officer contacted the Skeldon Branch and spoke with the loan officer handling my application. I was advised that I should hear something regarding my loan application within one to two weeks.

However, that timeframe has passed, and I have still not received any meaningful update regarding the status of my application. I have also sent several emails to both the Georgetown office and the Skeldon Branch requesting an update, but I have received no response.

I find this lack of communication extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Customers are asked to place their business and trust in the bank, and I believe customers deserve to be treated with the same level of professionalism and respect in return.

I would appreciate a clear explanation as to why my application has been delayed and why my emails have not been answered. I am also requesting a definite update on the current status of my loan application and what, if anything, is still required from me.

Please treat this matter as a formal complaint and have someone from the appropriate department contact me as soon as possible.

I look forward to receiving a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

Kind regards,

Demerara Bank Limited
